Common Mistakes Aspirants Make
- Reading too many sources for one topic — pick one standard book and revise it 3 times.
- Skipping CSAT preparation (many fail Prelims because of CSAT).
- Starting optional subject too late (optional alone is 500 marks!).
- Not practising answer writing daily — Mains is a writing test, not a reading test.
- Ignoring NCERTs — every UPSC topper says NCERTs are non-negotiable.
